Why and How Does This Work?

As a former parish director, high school music director, and diocesan director of sacred music, I have seen nearly every way that communities can fall short of passing on the patrimony of our faith in the Liturgy through sacred music. And no, that is not a preference.

The point of these workshops is to show that Holy Mother Church actually does have something to say regarding sacred music, and it is time that the Church listened!

In all of my previous roles, I have seen how implementation takes time and effort, and how with it, persons learn to love and grow in the musical patrimony of our faith in it’s varied contexts.
